Kat Rose ~ In the picture shown, blue is 4% Cu and 0.5% Co, the purple is 4% Mn and 0.5% Co. The right side is thick application and that is shows the blooms. These tiles were fired flat so next test is to fire vertically and see what happens. I have been using the Persian Blue with 4% Cu and the blooms appear where the glaze is thick. I love it. My new favorite glaze. The surface is luscious - somewhere between semi gloss and gloss. buttery

Please explain Cu and Co.....Copper Oxide, Cobalt Oxide, Cobalt Carbonate, etc....what are your actual colorants? Thanks
